It's good. I can see what you mean about the scanning and it being blotchy, but I still like it.

I adore the colours! The texture in the tree is grand. It's very pretty m'dear, you don't give yourself enough credit.

Okay so you're amazingtastic with watercolours. Or watercolour pencils. Whatever. I manage to mess everything up as soon as paint is mixed with watercolour. I'll stick with my regular pencils. xD
Ah no but this is a veeeeery interesting picture. the tree is super neat because it has a face (Pocahontas?) and it looks so twirly and everything. In itself. The roots. And all. It's like giant swirls and it looks really good because it's like a fairytale. With a raven. We love ravens. Ravens are symbolical. C:
My fav part is without a doubt the sky. All the pink clouds.. ah gosh, just great. Lots of pretty colour changes and it really looks like clouds.. which is always a good thing haha. The yellow cloud kind of takes away from it though, so distracting. I'm guessing you wanted the sun to break through there, but I think it would've worked better if it wasn't a lining on ALL of the cloud, rather a regular brightish pink cloud with some lining on some edges and a bit of an opening. (:
Umm the stubs. Do you even call them stubs? .. no, a stump. hahaha. how silly. Anyway the stumps, I like them a lot because they're all twistyswirly too, and I like the changes in the colour there as well. And how you kept on doing different colours in the picture overall. And the grassss is that individual straws I see? Blades, sorry. It looks great either way. The stumps in the distant sort of disappear into the brightness of some part of the meadow there, so stronger colours around. n_n
